With ResMed’s new S8 II series, the first thing you notice is how quiet these CPAPs are. ResMed reports that they are 60% quieter than the previous models. The new Escape II features a new technology called EPR with Easy-Breathe, which makes exhalation over pressure more comfortable by reducing the feeling of pressure. The S8 II series is very compact and easy to travel with. Its palm shaped foot print measures only 6.5 in wide and 5.7 in deep, allowing it to stow nicely in luggage. With the S8 Escape II, you’ll also have plenty of room left over on your night stand.
