ICON Premo Humidification 

Normally the air you breathe is heated by your nasal passage as it travels through. When on CPAP, the additional air flow can dry your airway faster than your body can re-saturate it. The F&P ICON has a smart heated breathing circuit  (ThermoSmart) that works in conjunction with the integrated heated humidifier to add moisture to the air before it gets to your airway. This results in a comfortable soothing feeling of air flow, that feels more natural and helps to prevent a stuffy nose, that can be caused by low humidity levels. 

ThermoSmart has the ability to deliver high levels of humidity without causing "rain out" or excess condensation in the tubing or mask. It tracks the ambient temperature of the room and automatically adjusts to prevent excess condensation.

SmartDial, Alarm Clock, and AlarmTunes

The smartly integrated clock functionality makes the Fisher & Paykel ICON an ideal substitute for an alarm clock radio. The ICON utilizes a single SmartDial. Simply turn the dial to access data directly from the display or set the built-in alarm clock with mp3 music playing ability with the AlarmTunes alarm clock. The SmartStick Studio software can be used to upload your songs and have the ICON's alarm start your morning with the song or sounds of your choice. 

InfoSmart and SmartStick

You can easily track your therapy effectiveness with InfoSmart and the SmartStick. InfoSmart software offers detailed reporting including data on compliance, AHI, leak and CPAP pressure. Your SmartStick can be connected directly to a USB drive on your computer to easily transfer data from your CPAP to Fisher and Paykel InfoSmart Software.
